ROM is the 1st step into marriage...we just have our Ring Of Marriage on October 05 '2008 at Che Hoon Khor Moral Uplifting Society Penang...
why we choose this date?...opss...i also dunno but we did it...and it is the last 3 days of vegetarian in the Chinese Calendar...one week before our ROM, we are looking around for the ring which is within our budget...walking whole day and can not find any of my dream ring...either the ring is not my type or out of his budget :D then we get to knew there is one shop which will help you decorate your dream ring and choose your own preferable diamond. The most amazing thing is they will feed in the diamond into the platinum ring in front of you. We only manage to get my ring the day before our ROM...My bf (opps… now is my hubby) only has the cheapest ring.. how much? Secret... I love him so much as he spends the entire ring budget on my ring BUT sad thing is he did not wear the ring the day after our ROM.
The day before my wedding, I’m a bit nervous about what is dress I want to wear, how my hairdo and makeup as all I DIY… save cost.
Bf said he does not want to buy expensive bouquet as waste of money… I very scare what kind of bouquet he bought will make me disappointed…
On that day, I’m so happy… he bought the bouquet which I dream off and it is PINKY roses… my flavor color… he still remember my flavor. Then it was the time... OMG, I am about to get marry, so we sat at the waiting area, waiting for out turn to go into room which everyone, family, friends, aunty, uncle and children witness us… ohhh… while waiting, we took a lots of pictures with different angle and different people.. Cheers! ~ Our turn finally came and we sat down and checked the documents. Everything is ok so i start to sign it with my cute signature… then exchange to his mum and my mum which are our witnesses for ROM… aiks my mum nervous as the ink of the pen can not out… change pen
Then now we have to recite the marriage vows…
blablabla… Bf did his part but for me, I feel funny and giggle when I try to read the marriage vows… and when we review back the video taken, we can realize that only Bf voice during the marriage vows. After the “I DO” part, now is the turn to exchange ring… oh my ring!! He kisses me once but I have kissed him fourth times... This is because of the cameraman (who is my sister) can not able to capture the moments and ask me to repeat and repeat… Then, Bf whisper to me and perli me… L :P
After all, we took picture with family, friends, aunty, uncle and ...all..
Wow, dunno why I turn very hungry… Then we go to the Vegetarian Restaurant to take our lunch… there are 5 dishes and it cost around RM350/ tables. This is the 1st time I feel love on the vegetarian food… I forget the restaurant name… let me think about it……. Then end of ROM day…. Now I’m Mrs Yeoh… but I keep telling people that I still Miss as we still not yet went through the Chinese wedding ceremony but in the laws, I’m Mrs Yeoh… emm..
What we learn from this searching? I learn that we need to ask about the 4C before make decision to choose which diamond. 4C? To become Mr and Mrs only need around RM20 for register fee and RM8 for certificate the document without taking calculate the ring cost.
